Case study: Vecozo

VECOZO is an internet portal which offers safe communication in the social service sector. Every year 400.000 paper contracts are signed between health insurers and care providers (doctors, physiotherapists ...). This process is automated with the help of BlueRidge.

About 20.000 care providers maintain and evaluate approx. 400.000 contracts with approx. 20 health insurers in the Netherlands. With the assistance of the Vecozo web application and BlueRidge, as from today these contracts are exchanged as certified PDF documents instead of paper documents.

The Electronic Declaration Portal is a functionality from which VECOZO certified users can digitally supply their declarations. A delivered declaration (HTML) is automatically read in by BlueRidge and is sent to the health insurer (PDF) with encryption. At the same time, the declaration portal provides the opportunity to check the status of the submitted declaration at any time. Another possibility is the evocation of return information belonging to a submitted declaration.
